For a fun-filled family day out in Sussex look no further than Drusillas. I can’t believe we have never been here before! This park is definitely up there as one of my favourites. From the minute you walk in there are interactive games such as the ‘Zoolympics’ and ‘Animal Spotters’ challenges which come with your very own books and stamp stations dotted along the way for you to fill them out. There are a tonne of educational, interactive activities to keep the kids engaged throughout the Zoo, which is just genius and a winner for all parents. I love how the zoo route is guided by paw prints on the floor, it’s so cute and ensures you don’t miss a thing. Oliver had a wail of a time following them and jumping from one to the other.

With the recent arrival of 2 armadillos, this is no ordinary zoo! Think weird and wonderful animals rather than lions, tigers & bears! There are 4 amazing walkthroughs with birds, lemurs, bats, sloths and tamarin monkeys! I was mesmerised by all the species I’ve never seen before. We witnessed some baby monkeys having fun and we peered through a Perspex bowl into the Meerkat habitat. The squirrel monkeys loved our little boy Oliver and we’re playing with him through the glass. They gave us lots of special memories ❤️

We had an awesome time on all the rides and were lucky enough to hop on more than once. This is childs heaven with a huge play park, a train ride, an interactive Dino trail, a huge indoor soft play & cafe and even a splash park! So don’t forgot your swimming costumes!

They are plenty of food and drink options dotted around the park and prices are in line with other parks we have been to. You can also take your own picnic. The park was exceptionally clean, the baby changing and toilet facilities are fab & every loo has an integral child’s seat and lower wash basins. This really is handy with younger children. The park was spotless with plenty of sanitiser dotted around. All of the staff were lovely and really seemed enthusiastic and enjoyed their work with the animals.
