Howletts Animal Park Review

As the whole nation waited in anticipation of the lockdown rules being lifted we were so glad when the UK Government allowed zoos and animal parks to open their doors to the public again.

We were a little apprehensive about going out again but felt being outdoors was probably the safest option and all the zoos were desperate for some income. After researching the measures that Howletts in Kent put in place we decided to take Oliver there.

Numbers were restricted, a one way system was put in place, queues were socially distanced at 2m apart, toilets were cleaned after every person and food and drink was take-away only. Hand sanitisers were dotted around the park as well as signs to keep everyone safe. I was really impressed with the measures they put in place and felt totally safe visiting.

We had a wonderful day walking around at leisure enjoying the animals, fresh air & sunshine.

Well done to all the team for making our visit enjoyable. It was just what we needed after being at home for so many months.
