The Liberty Fabay in Fethiye Turkey is a hotel that has something for everyone.

My favourite part of the hotel has to be the beach-bar. It was the dreamiest place to sit with a cocktail, watch the waves and relax with chilled vibes while the children played on the sand. The ambience was perfect. I could have stayed here all day.

THE POOLS

If swimming is your thing then you are spoilt for choice here! 3 are heated, the main pool, the flume pool and 1 indoor (by the spa)

The baby / toddler pool has a canopy which is perfect for little ones as it’s very shallow (Not heated) The kids pool has a few slides & pirate ship theme (not heated) There is also a playground next to it and a kids club. The flume pool is fab for older kids and the ‘big’ kids!! (Heated) My 4yr old was happy to join us on the rubber rings and fly down the flumes!

There are also swimming pools between each of the hotel blocks that can be accessed from the rooms. However, we visited in October half term and found these too cold to use. Bear in mind swim up rooms are not heated.

THE FOOD

There are plenty of options for food including the main buffet restaurant, Italian, Chinese, Fish and Grill. There is also a separate buffet restaurant for adults only.

For lunch there was the option of an outdoor a’la carte restaurant, main buffet restaurant and also street style type food if you just wanted to grab something quick.

The Patisserie had mouth watering cookies, cakes, ice cream and a hot drink selection to suit every taste! The kids loved grabbing a hot chocolate and a cookie! I couldn’t resist the Frappes! They were absolutely delicious and we found it hard to stay away!

We never had a problem with the food here, it was all lovely, tasted good and presented well. I’d say it’s better than most all inclusives we have been too.

I loved the baby food and milk options that were provided. There was a dedicated kids area for food in the main buffet restaurant.

The cocktails were of good standard. Hit the lobby bar for a mixologist!

ACTIVITIES

The list of activities on offer included yoga, pilates, zumba, water aerobics, beach volleyball, pool games, inflatables, darts, chess, watersports and so much more – there is so much to do here.

The evening entertainment has to be the best we have ever experienced abroad. Held in an open air stage with plenty of seating with a bar. My favourite act had to be ‘Inspire Extraordinaire’ from Ukraine. They were unbelievable! Totally blew me away with their talent. Check out their Instagram and Facebook.

For the children there is a kids club, kids pool, flumes and slides, 2 playgrounds. There is nightly entertainment including the kids disco. The hotel provided entertainment on the main grass area between the beach and pool which included different theme nights, they had bouncy castles, performers, old style wooden games, popcorn, candy floss, interactive games and lots more!

There is also a dive centre which is separate to the hotel within walking distance. You can book boat trips and all different types of watersports, paragliding etc.

We booked ourselves into the SPA for a Turkish bath and massage – it was amazing! Definitely recommend.

THE ROOMS

We stayed in a pool access room which had stairs leading off your balcony to the pool. Initially, I was worried about the balcony access to the pool area with small children. I needn’t have worried as this can only be opened with your door access card – so no need to panic about littleuns opening it and making an escape! The rooms were very clean and modern. Lots of toiletries included and a fully stocked mini bar including beer, soft drinks, chocolate and pretzel snacks. Every day a maid came in to refresh you room. No complaints here.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our age ranged from 1yr-65yrs. The staff work hard and are always friendly.
