We recently travelled to France using Irish Ferries and I was surprised how easy & stress free it was! Within 1.5hrs we were in France. Once on board there are a tonne of facilities for kids, including a soft play area, an arcades room, TVs with cartoons and a free activity pack.

The kids were able to move around the ship and stretch their legs, no confinement to airline seats here! With everything on board to keep the kids busy it certainly beat sitting on a plane. Pets are allowed to travel and you have unlimited luggage so you can pack the car with all the kids favourite snacks and toys! #familytravelmadeeasy

The boys loved watching us depart from Dover with all the water swooshing from behind the boat!

For the adults there’s a huge duty free shop, a restaurant, cafe lounge, and O’Flahertys Irish bar. (There’s always a quiet corner if you want to chill with a book)
